Universal Web PACS Workstation is a light-weight (less than 100KB)
Java-based PACS and is offered as an absolutely free service. Due
to proper load balancing between the client (our Java interface)
and the server (our DICOM server) components
of this application, Web PACS provides amazing real-time image analysis
tools. The system was designed to provide the access to any DICOM
images, from anywhere in the world, anytime. Also, it provides the
basic image-processing capabilities available from conventional
PACS.
Web PACS works in all popular browsers, including IE 4.0+, Netscape
4.1+, Opera 4.0+ and the others supporting Java 1.1 and JavaScript.
If you have a firewall, make sure it does not block our site. Web
PACS employs advanced data sampling and compression techniques to
deliver the images even over the low-bandwidth connections to systems
with as low as 32MB RAM.
All Web PACS data is stored in a secure database and is transferred
in encrypted format, which ensures privacy and safety of your information.
If you need even higher privacy, please run your DICOM files through
our DICOM Anonymizer before you upload
them to our server. With "Exact colors" compression level,
WebPACS supports true 8-bit window/level for up to 16 bits/pexel
grayscale images.
To make your image uploads to WebPACS several times faster, use image compression in our DICOM Viewer Plus.
To view our sample DICOM archive with Web PACS, follow the WebPACS
Demo link, or use the login form to the right with the default
"guest" login and password.
To start using Web PACS with your own images, all you need is to
fill the free registration form. A short
Web PACS reference can be found here.

The product received FDA premarket approval in January 2003, and has been successfully deployed in a number of hospitals worldwide. If you are interested in purchasing and installing a copy of Web PACS at your hospital, please contact us.
