You can easily use UniPACS to change your planar projections on the fly. To do so:
1.
Open a series with at least 3 images. The more images you have in a series, the more accurate your projection will be.
2.
Click on this series to make it active, and Cine somewhere in the middle of the series stack.
3.
Make sure the Orien button on the UniPACS toolbar is active. If it is not, the series is lacking important 3D DICOM tags, and reconstruction is impossible.
4.
If the Orien button is active, click it. Then start dragging the mouse (holding the left mouse button down) over the current series image. You will notice that image plane orientation is changing as you move the mouse across.
5.
As soon as you release the left mouse button, the image will be rendered with the highest quality.
Once you have adjusted the angle, you can change plane depth, tilt or pan from the right-click menu, in a similar fashion. If you exit, the changed image will remain as a “virtual series” – for instance, you can use all usual tools like Cine, Window/Level, Zoom to work with “virtual series”.
If you want to return to the original series, check the Orien button, select Reset from the right-click menu, and then Exit. |
